Accessibility statement

mida arquitectes is committed to making its website mida.cat accessible so that anyone can use it, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use.

Compliance status

This website is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and with the applicable requirements of standard EN 301 549.

Non-accessible content

No non-accessible content was found in the latest review. All photographs have alternative text describing their content in the three languages. If new images are published without a description, the website identifies them by project name and position until one is added.

Measures taken

  • Semantic structure with landmarks, hierarchical headings and a link to skip directly to the content.
  • Descriptive alternative text for every project photograph; images that only accompany a link that already has a name are marked as decorative.
  • Full keyboard navigation with focus always visible.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text, controls and icons, including over photographs.
  • Home page slideshow with a button to pause and resume it; it also stops when it receives focus and respects the reduced-motion preference.
  • Contact form with visible labels and descriptive error messages announced to screen readers.
  • Content available in Catalan, Spanish and English, with the language of each page identified.
  • Responsive design that can be zoomed up to 400% without loss of content.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 17 September 2026 and reviewed the same day, after adding alternative text to all images, based on a self-assessment using automated tools (axe-core 4.13 and Lighthouse 12) and a manual review of keyboard navigation, the accessibility tree, zoom and mobile devices.
