Cookie policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in the user’s browser to remember information between visits. Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) requires users to be informed about them and, except for strictly necessary technical cookies, to give consent before they are used.

2. Cookies used by this website

The mida.cat website does not set any cookies in visitors’ browsers. Nor does it use equivalent storage or tracking technologies (local storage, pixels or browser fingerprinting).

Specifically, the website:

  • has no analytics or visitor statistics tools;
  • shows no advertising;
  • embeds no third-party content (maps, videos, social media buttons or external fonts): typefaces and images are served from the same server;
  • does not need cookies to remember the language, because the language is part of each page’s address (/es/, /en/);
  • does not use cookies in the contact form.

For this reason, the website does not display any cookie notice or consent request.

3. Administration area cookies

Only people authorised to manage the website receive cookies when they log in to the WordPress administration area. These are technical cookies, strictly necessary for the service they have requested and therefore exempt from consent:

Cookie Purpose Duration
wordpress_test_cookie Checks that the browser accepts cookies before logging in. Session
wordpress_[code], wordpress_sec_[code] Authenticates the user in the administration area. Session, or 14 days if “Remember me” is ticked
wordpress_logged_in_[code] Indicates that the user is logged in. Session, or 14 days if “Remember me” is ticked
wp-settings-[id], wp-settings-time-[id] Remembers administration display preferences. 1 year

4. How to manage cookies in your browser

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings:

5. Changes to this policy

If the website adds non-technical cookies in the future (for example, analytics), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.

If you have any questions, write to us at info@mida.cat. More information on data processing can be found in the privacy policy.
